Welcome to the new/updated Combat Control Association (CCA) web site… it’s been a long time in the making. First order of business is to update our members on the 2011 CCA Reunion (26-29 Oct.). The CCA schedule is likely to change, so members can attend an Air Force Cross (AFC) and Silver Star (SS) Awards Ceremony on 27 or 28 October for Combat Controllers, Staff Sgt. Robert Gutierrez, Jr. (AFC), and Tech Sgt. Ismael Villegas (SS). If the ceremony is on Thursday it will impact the CCT Briefing, Monster Mash and possibly the BBQ. If it’s moved to Friday, we hope it’s scheduled for late afternoon, so it’ll not conflict with the Golf Tournament.
The on-line reunion registration page is up… with PayPal (credit card) as a payment
option. If not, you can complete and print the online form or fill out the form provided in the July/August 2011 Newsletter (last page) and mail it with your check to CCA, P.O. Memorial Rucksack March on 26 Oct. The march will end at 2:00pm behind the Special Tactics Training Squadron where the baton “hand-off” ceremony will take place.
